Duties and Responsibilities

The Company First Sergeant is the senior enlisted member of the Company. The 1SG forms the Company for drill and ceremonies. The 1SG also is responsible for the morale, welfare, and discipline of all Cadets in the Company.

• Responsible for the initial formation and alignment of the Company. 

• Ensures all members of the Company are properly uniformed. 

• Assists Company Commander and Executive Officer if they want help. 

• Must be thoroughly familiar with all phases of Company, Squad drill and ceremonies. 

• Assume command of the Company in the absence of all officers. 

• Ensures Squad leaders are performing their duties in a military manner. 

• Make recommendations to the Company Commander for promotions.
