Duties and Responsibilities
The Battalion Executive Officer is the second in command of the Battalion. The primary duty of the Executive Officer is to supervise the Battalion staff and ensure the directives of the Battalion Commander are carried out. Specific duties are:

1Supervise the primary staff and assist them with the supervision of their assistants.

Counsel individual Cadets.

Supervise the preparation and submission of required reports.

Serve as Commander of Troops for review ceremonies.

Coordinate recommendations for promotions and awards within the staff and submit them through the Battalion Commander for approval.

Plan with the S3 on the calendars and other boards

Makes slides for staff Briefings

Update the front trophy display
-
.Conduct periodic inspections of the JROTC area and staff sections, and ensure needed corrections are made.
